Meet The Communicabilities Team...

Danielle is a graduate from West Chester University of Pennsylvania in 2014 earning a Bachelor's Degree in communicative disorders with a minor in special education. She has also earned her Master's Degree in speech language pathology in 2016 while attending Kean University. 

Besides working at CommunicAbilities, Danielle is a full-time speech language specialist at Center for Lifelong Learning in Parlin, NJ. At this placement, she works with students with a variety of disabilities ages 3-21.

In areas of speech/language deficits, Danielle has worked with include: expressive/receptive language, social/pragmatic language, memory, augmentative alternative communication (AAC), articulation, and fluency.

Danielle Stacy

M.A. CCC-SLP

Dana is a speech language pathologist, who graduated from Kean University with a Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences.  She graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Monmouth University.

She is a licensed speech therapist in New Jersey and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  She has experience in a variety of settings such as specialized schools and hospitals.

She has worked at the Center for Lifelong Learning in Parlin, NJ since 2016,  which serves students with severe and multiple disabilities  and students with a diagnosis within the Autism Spectrum. At her current place of employment, she works with individuals who need augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and applied behavior analysis (ABA) techniques and strategies.

Dana Stepnowski

MS, CCC-SLP

Carly is a speech language pathologist, who obtained her Bachelor’s degree in Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences at Kean University. She also minored in American Sign Language.  Carly graduated with a Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from Kean University.

She is a licensed speech therapist in New Jersey and holds a Certificate of Clinical Competence from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).  In addition to working at CommunicAbilities, Carly is a full-time speech language specialist at the Center for Lifelong Learning in Parlin, NJ serving students with complex communication needs diagnosed with Autism and multiple disabilities.  

In areas of speech/language deficits, Carly has worked with the following: expressive/receptive language, social/pragmatic language, memory, cognitive rehabilitation, apraxia, augmentative alternative communication (AAC), articulation, and fluency. Additionally, works closely with occupational therapists to incorporate sensory integration strategies within sessions.
